A Dublin woman accused of stealing from a former creative director of Vogue says she will "vigorously fight" all charges.

Yvonne Bannigan denies spending more than €45,000 on a credit card owned by Grace Coddington, while working as an assistant for her in New York.

The 25-year-old is also accused of selling a number of the former model’s possessions online.

Ms. Bannigan has been forced to hand her passport into authorities in America, and her case is due to be heard again later this month.

Her legal team has told 98FM News that "Yvonne has maintained her innocence and we have met with the prosecutors and presented facts which we assert weigh against the lodging of formal charges."

"In the event the prosecutors present the case to the Grand Jury and Yvonne is indicted by this body (formally charged), she intends to plead not guilty and vigorously fight the charges at a trial", they said.
