Dublin Bus is starting a brand new route today.

The 155 will operate about every twenty minutes 7 days a week from IKEA in Ballymun to Bray train station, serving DCU, Phibsboro, the city centre, Donnybrook, the Stillorgan Road, UCD, Cabinteely and Shankill.

The timetable says it'll take nearly an hour and a half from end to end.

Dublin Bus has also increased services and revised timetables on Routes 13, 25, 25A, 25B, 38, 38A, 39, 39A & 70.

Also, from today new private operator Go-Ahead Ireland is taking over three former Dublin Bus routes: the 76 and 76A on the westside, and the 18 in the south.

It brings to 50 the number of routes being operated by Go-Ahead Ireland.

National Transport Authority spokesman Dermot O'Gara says they're adding more buses, but the routes aren't changing.
