Dublin Airport Testing Alternatives To Plastic Bottles

Dublin Airport has announced it's testing alternatives to their Plane Water bottles.

Over the next few weeks, passengers can pick up a carton of water or buy a 100 percent recyclable and reusable bottle after security screening.

The bottles can be refilled at one of 18 hydration station fountains across the airport.

It comes new research shows we may be ingesting 5 grams of plastic a week.

That's the equivalent of eating a credit card.

That's according to a new study commissioned by the environmental charity WWF International.

It shows the largest source of plastic ingestion was from tap and especially bottled water.
