There's been a drug seizure on the Northside.
Four men are in Garda custody after cannabis herb was found in two cars in the Coolock/Santry area.
This is the first operation carried out by the newly formed Garda Drugs and Organised Crime unit.
They stopped and searched two cars in the Coolock/Santry area earlier and found a large amount of Cannabis Herb.
It would have been worth half a million Euro if it made it onto the streets.
Four men, aged 27, 30, 36 and 58 were arrested and are being held at Ballymun and Coolock Garda station under Section 2 of the drug trafficking act.
Gardai are carrying out follow up searches following this latest haul.
