Parts of Leinster are officially experiencing a drought, with warm and dry weather set to continue for now.
Temperatures of between 26 and 28 degrees are forecast for Dublin today.
A temperature of almost 28 degrees was recorded at Phoenix Park yesterday, with temperatures hitting more than 30 degrees in other parts of the country.

The situation is causing concern for farmers, with drought conditions having already been reached in some parts of Leinster.
The dry weather is also creating problems in forests, with fires reported in Dublin as well as Wicklow and Wexford.
Mick Power, a risk manager with Coillte, explained there are fires in other parts of the country, but the east coast is the worst affected.
He said: "They've had rainfall along the west coast and on the Munster side.
"All around the east coast, we haven't had rainfall - and that's now coupled with the high temperatures, low soil moisture, and the ability of fuel to just take off."
Irish Water, meanwhile, is continuing to warn that water restrictions in Dublin "will become unavoidable" if demand exceeds supply.
Restrictions are already in place in some parts of the country, with members of the public being urged to conserve water.
