There's been a slight drop in the number of people signing on last month - of 1,600.
Although the monthly decrease is small - there's been a yearly drop of 7.8 percent - with 33 thousand less people on the Live Register.
Welcoming the fall in unemployment figures, Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton said the unemployment rate at 11.8 percent was still too high.
