Powerful winds from a cyclone have caused widespread destruction across the Vanuatu islands in the South Pacific.
Aid officials say at least eight people have been killed but, with communications down, it's hard to assess the damage and there could be dozens of other victims.
Tahnia Cook lives in Australia but runs a holiday resort on the main island with her husband who was there yesterday.
She hasn't heard from him since the cyclone struck.
