Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell has denied she has been paid to support pro-choice charities.

The actress, who plays Michelle in the hit series, was vocal in her support of the repeal movement earlier this year.

However, the 26 year has taken to Twitter saying she was never paid to promote the pro-choice movement.

She added 'I do it because its right' with the hashtag 'The North Is Next.'
