DCU students have gathered outside the Justice Minister's office calling on him to revoke a deportation order.
Shepherd Machaya is half way through his degree, but has been ordered to leave the country by Sunday.
He fled Zimbabwe for Ireland 9 years ago, and is now living in Direct Provision.
People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett believes it's too dangerous for Shepherd to return to Zimbabwe.
He explained that he has "lots of college mates, who want him to stay and continue to study and not be sent back to Zimbabwe where he faces grave danger".
This generation of DCU students will not forgive the DOJ if it follows through on its threat to deport Shepherd Machaya, @CharlieFlanagan.

Students from a number of other universities, including Trinity, also took part in this afternoon's demonstration outside the Department of Justice.
