Preparations are underway to fly two Irish children home to Ireland, after the death of their father Jason Corbett in the US earlier this month.
Jack and Sarah Corbett were the subject of a custody hearing in North Carolina yesterday.
Their stepmother, Molly Martens, was trying to prevent them being handed over to Jason's sister and her husband.
Her case was dismissed, paving the way for the children to be brought back to Limerick.
Jason Corbett was killed earlier this month in North Carolina and police say they're not looking for anyone outside the home in relation to his death.
Speaking at her home in Limerick, Jason's mother Rita Corbett described the last phone call she had with her son.
