A Panda recycling worker has returned €1,500 to a woman with Alzheimer's, who accidentally tossed the cash away while cleaning out her house.
Costica Nedelcu was working at Panda's recycling centre when he discovered the money hidden in an old shoe.
The recycling company managed to track down it's rightful owner and return the cash to her. The women had been using the shoes as a hiding place.
Panda say they've noticed an unusual trend in recent months, with senior citizens accidentally throwing cash into skips.
