The refurbished Clontarf Baths will re-open towards the end of next week - but not the pool.
More than two million euro has been spent revamping the open-air seawater pool, which shut 22 years ago.
After being granted a full drinks licence, those behind the project hope to open the bar and restaurant next week.
However, they're still working on ways to fund the opening of the swimming pool, which they say costs a lot to run.
The cost of lifeguards and other staff mean the pool may initially only be made available for private hire from late Spring.
The company has already planned to approach Dublin City Council and Dublin Port for financial help.
