Danny Cipriani has told a court he was "a bit miffed" to fail a breathalyser after downing 2 espresso martinis and a flute of champagne less than an hour earlier.
The English rugby star was almost double the legal limit when his Mercedes crashed in London last year.
The 28-year-old denies drink-driving, and says being put off the road would make it difficult to get to training.
