A former Lord Mayor of Dublin is considering running for Aras an Uachtarain.
Christy Burke says the first thing on his agenda as President would be "housing for all".
The Independent Councillor says he'll give the idea "considerable thought" over the next week.
He has also thanked those encouraging him to run for office, admitting he is "overwhelmed with the amount of support" he received so far.
