Criminal Assets Bureau Carries Out Raids Across Dublin

40 searches have now been carried out in a series of CAB raids targeting the Kinahan crime gang.

150 gardai are involved in the searches which have been taking place in Dublin, Meath, Limerick and Longford.

Among the items seized so far are Rolex and Cartier watches, an Audi Q7, a Mercedes, a Honda motorbike and 15 thousand euro in cash. 

Documents, mobile phones have also been seized and cash has been frozen in one back account.

The raids began earlier this morning and involved the Criminal Assets Bureau and, local garda and armed units.

40 premises in Dublin, Limerick, Meath and Longford have been searched so far in the raids – which are part of an operation targeting the Kinahan crime gang.

In particular, officers are looking at a key figure within the gang and his property portfolio.

The man in his 30s from Dublin’s north inner city and it’s understood his home in Meath was searched as part of the raids.

No arrests have bene made so far.
