Strike action could be on the cards at Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann due to a row over privitisation.
SIPTU members in each company are meeting this morning to consider their next move, after talks on government plans to sell off 10 percent of public bus services broke down yesterday.
Unions say the National Transport Authority has threatened to privatise routes without their agreement.
