Solicitor Brian O'Donnell is allowed to remain at his Gorse Hill home in Killiney until Thursday.
Yesterday, he told the Court of Appeal that the original High Court deadline of 5 o'clock on Friday evening was 'unjust and unlawful'.
Mr O'Donnell - who owes Bank of Ireland over 70 million euro - will have his appeal against a trespass order heard next Thursday.
