A 10 year old boy is recovering at home after he was attacked by a dog in Dublin.
Cameron Lynch needed more than 50 stitches to his face and underwent surgery in Temple Street hospital after the incident on Thursday afternoon.
He was playing near his grandmother's house at the time, and the husky-type dog has since been destroyed.
His mother Jacqueline says Cameron told her how he had been petting the dog and turned his attention to another one when the bigger dog became aggressive:
