The temperatures are set to soar over the next few days but there is bad news for Dublin bathers.
Swimming has been banned at Seapoint, Sandycove, the Forty Foot and Dollymount Strand.
There was a controlled overflow discharge from the Ringsend facility yesterday morning as a result of a yellow rainfall warning last weekend.
Discharge
A spokesperson for Irish Water has said the discharge is diluted screen-settled waste water.
The overflow is in keeping with the operation and compliance of the plant.
It is the second time this month that Dublin beaches have been hit with bathing-bans.
