Scramblers are high up on the wish list for many kids but Gardai in Ballymun are urging parents not to buy the bikes as presents.
They're handing out leaflets in the area to remind parents and guardians that you have to be over 16, insured and licensed to drive them.

Local Sinn Fein councillor Noeleen Reilly says they're a real nuisance and people in the area hate them. But she's also reminding people they can cause fatalities:
"I have parents saying to me I can't let my kids out because there are ones flying up and down the road on them. A small number are also using them to deal drugs which is completely unacceptable."
