An Irish teenager is being held in custody in Spain on an attempted murder charge.
The 17 year old and his older brother were arrested following a serious assault earlier this month.
The men were among four Irish tourists who got into a fight in the early hours of August 14th, in the resort of Puerto Banus near Marbella.
The victim sustained life-threatening head injuries but is now thought to be in a stable condition.
Of the two Irish men arrested, the older brother has been released on bail, but the 17 year old is being held at a young offenders institution.
