A gang of up to 30 armed young men tried to gate crash a popular Dublin night spot over the weekend.
One man aged in his early 20's was arrested over the incident at Lost Lane, at Adam Court just off Grafton Street.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It has been reported that some of the gang were armed with weapons including axes and petrol bombs.
Gardaí say a large number of young people had congregated outside the venue.
They have also confirmed that some offensive weapons were found nearby.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
