Appeal To Driver Involved In Lucan Crash

Gardai are appealing for information about a collision in Lucan last month.

A 19 year old pedestrian was knocked down while crossing the Leixlip Road near the Springfield Hotel shortly before 10.30am on the 13th of February.

Officers say the driver of the white vehicle stopped and spoke to him before leaving the scene.

The teen went to hospital to be treated for minor injuries and reported the case to officers the following day.

Detectives say they're satisfied the driver didn't know the man had been injured and left thinking the situation was resolved.

But now officers are appealing to the driver to come forward, or anyone who may have witnessed the event to contact them at Lucan Garda Station.
