Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious road crash in Swords.
A 22 year old woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car on the R132 close to the Pavilions Shopping Centre roundabout this morning. It happened at around 9am.
The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries, however the driver of the car wasn't injured.
The road has been closed for a forensic examination.
