The ' Fighting Irish ' could be set for a return to Dublin.
American football giants Notre Dame could face rivals Navy in a college game in the capital.
According to the Sunday Business Post, the game would be worth over 60 million euro to the city.
Both colleges last played each other in 2012, a fixture that attracted 35,000 Americans.
36 extra trans-Atlantic flights were put on to meet the demand while hotels in the city and surrounds were all sold-out.
Details of the fixture are due to be announced this week, but it is expected to take place in autumn 2020.
