One of the country's newest music festivals returns to County Waterford this August Bank Holiday.

All Together Now launched last summer to such good reviews, tickets for its second outing are like gold dust.

The National, Patti Smith and Hot Chip will headline the festival at Curraghmore Estate from August 2nd.

Stage times and a site map will be released a few days before the festival.

Ticket-holders are also being promised "some very special additions to the line-up".

Festival organisers are reminding people hoping to buy tickets second-hand to only buy from official sources.

"If you have not purchased your ticket from an official Ticketmaster outlet it may be a forgery".

If you are buying a ticket second-hand, you are being encouraged to get it checked at any Ticketmaster outlet first.

Organisers say all entrants will go through "stringent security checks", and anyone with a fake ticket will not be allowed in.

All Together Now - Getting There

If you do have your ticket sorted, the festival have released some tips on making getting there as smooth as possible.

People are being encouraged to take public transport, or car-pool.

Irish Rail runs trains between Dublin and Waterford.

Rail passengers will then have to book a shuttle bus to take them from Waterford to Curraghmore.

Bus Eireann runs a shuttle, and will also take you straight to Curraghmore House from Dublin. Details here.

If a few of you want to bundle into a car, All Together Now is encouraging people to use GoCar to car-pool.

Their special offer means you can get a car for the full weekend from €35 per person.

The All Together Now rate includes all insurance, taxes and fuel.

Those who fancy cycling there will have spaces to lock their bikes up at the festival.

Cyclists are being reminded to use all the proper safety wear, and to never cycle after drinking alcohol.

People driving from Dublin are being reminded to expect delays along the Naas Road.

Drivers are being encouraged to get on the road early to avoid the never-ending roadworks.

All Together Now - Leave No Trace

All Together Now is a Leave No Trace festival. That means, after everyone has had their fun and gone home, the festival grounds should look almost as spotless as they did before everyone arrived.

Ticket-holders are being asked to pack consciously, and bring as little as possible with them.

Each person with a weekend camping ticket can bring 24 cans OR 1 litre of spirits OR 1.5 litre of wine.

You can bring in your alcohol on initial entry only, and you can enjoy it in both the campsite and the main arena.

As glass is not allowed, people are being asked to decant alcohol into reusable bottles, and not single-use plastic ones

All Together Now - The Safety Stuff

Festival organisers have worked hard to make sure everyone has a fun time over the weekend.

As part of that, they are asking people not to bring anything that could be dangerous.

Their list of banned items includes all illegal drugs, fireworks, BBQs and drones.

"Anyone found carrying illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the festival and passed over to the Garda as a result".

You can find out more about what you can and can't bring into All Together Now here.
