Abortion Referendum Could Be Delayed Until After Pope's Visit

The abortion referendum could be put off until after the Pope's visit next August,

The Sunday Independent says a senior Government source has confirmed it might have to take place in October.

That's despite the Taoiseach saying he'd prefer we go to the polls on the issue of the 8th Amendment in May or June.

Fianna Fail's deal to support Fine Gael in government ends after the budget in October.
