The Data from the first three and a half months of 2015 show allegations about bogus claims are continuing to flood into Social Welfare offices
There were 5233 anonymous reports of alleged fraud from January to mid April.
Last year there were 21 thousand such tip offs with investigations saving taxpayers 68 million euro
Social Protection Minister Joan Burton has repeatedly called on the public to come forward with tip offs to cut the welfare bill.
The anti-fraud target for 2015 is 510 million euro.
