Its expected French rugby supporters - travelling to Ireland for this weekend's Six Nations matches - will generate more than 40 million euro for the economy.

That's according to the business representative group Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Around 6,000 French fans are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend as Ireland take on France in their second Six Nations match at The Aviva this evening.

Aebhric McGibney, Public Affairs Director with Dublin Chamber of Commerce, says the games provide a welcome boost to the economy.
