Three hundred million euro will be spent on social housing in Dublin.
The money from the European Investment Bank and Housing Finance Agency will see 2000 apartments and homes built or refurbished over the next three years.
It's the first time the EIB is funding social housing here.
EIB Vice President Jonathan Taylor says they want to invest further.
