Drugs thought to be worth almost 1.5 million euro have been seized in Dublin.

The cocaine, cannabis and ketamine were found during searches in Ronanstown, Tallaght and Clondalkin yesterday.

A 26-year-old man arrested in connection with the discovery is due in court this afternoon, while a second man aged 30 is continuing to be questioned.

The first of the drugs were found when officers stopped and searched two vehicles in the Ronanstown area at around 7.30pm on Thursday.

Follow up searches took place in the Tallaght and Clondalkin areas resulting in the seizure of large amounts of cocaine, cannabis, ketamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
