More than 14 million euro was paid out for public liability accidents in the greater Dublin area last year.
New stats from the injuries board says trips, slips and falls were the main causes of public liability accidents with research showing women account for over 70 per-cent of all awards made and July is the month when most accidents happen.
657 of the Dublin claimants received an average of 22 thousand euro per claim.
Overall the National public liability award rose year on year by almost 11 per-cent.
Ballyfermot Road topped the list at 13 claims while Parnell Street and The North Circular Road came second.
