Arnotts has confirmed it's to get an 11 million euro upgrade.
Parent company Selfridges (which also owns Brown Thomas and is a Penneys investor) is to refurbish the iconic northside department store and improve its IT systems.
The beauty hall will take the largest share of the cash injection.
There'll also be a new “beauty hub” promoting niche cosmetics like Huda Beauty.
The restaurants will be upgraded, with one of them being turned into a table service eatery.
For those who find the store unbearably hot, you'll be glad to hear the air con system will also be improved.
It's reported Arnotts will also open a new toy department soon, while it will collaborate with the Little Museum of Dublin for its 175th anniversary next month.
