11 puppies have been found by officials at Dublin Port.
They were discovered in a car, which was about to board a ferry to the UK, without proper vet or transport papers.
Security at Dublin Port contacted Dogs Trust following the discovery of the pups, which were in a car driven by a woman.
The dog welfare charity is now looking after the 11 pups.
Mark Beazley from Dogs Trust said where these animals came from is not known, but "Ireland is known as the puppy farming capital of Europe with approximately 90,000 puppies bred here every single year."
The pups have been appropriately named after types of fish (the one in the picture is Nemo), and they will all soon move to foster homes.
Dogs Trust, which is full at the moment, is asking people thinking about getting a dog to rescue or re-home one, and not to buy one.
