Interstellar opens in cinemas on Friday 7th November. The sci-fi adventure movie stars Matthew McConaugheyAnne Hathaway and Michael Caine and is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Without giving too much of the plot away, it's set in the near future where earth has been devastated by drought and a global food crisis, leaving humanity on the brink of extinction. A team of astronauts must travel beyond the galaxy to see if there is a future for the human race among the stars. Essentially Matthew McConaughey must save the planet. Sure who else?

Interstellar is visually stunning and we'd advise you to make sure to see it on the big screen. There are quite a few twists and turns throughout the movie so you have to try and pay close attention to keep up with it. The end will absolutely blow your mind and leave you thinking - what just happened?

Everything is excellent in this movie from the acting, the storyline to the special effect. It's three hours long so make sure to stock up on popcorn and nibbles.

Top marks from us for Interstellar.
