Our very own Jack Reynor is set to star in a new Jungle Book movie. It's going to be Andy Serkis's first time to direct a feature film.
Along with Jack it will star Oscar winning actors Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett and Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch.
I'm sure we all know the story of The Jungle Book but for those who don't. It's about a small human boy Mowgli, who is raised by a wolf pack in a jungle. He becomes friends with the good guys of the jungle, a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera. And of course there is a bad guy, a tiger Shere Khan.
The actors performing the roles of the story’s central animal characters are: Benedict Cumberbatch as the tiger, Shere Khan, Cate Blanchett as Kaa, the snake, Christian Bale as Bagheera, Andy Serkis as Baloo and Jack Reynor as Mowgli’s Brother Wolf.
On the human side, young actor Rohan Chand from “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” and “Lone Survivor” will play the boy raised by wolves, Mowgli.
