We've seen Fifty Shades of Grey and what can we say... it certainly lives up to the hype. A lot of whips, rope, nudity and all that comes with it.

Basically it's Twilight meets Devil Wears Prada. A shy girl who is out of her depth and is won over by a mysterious guy with a secret. At points if you closed your eyes you could have actually been watching Twilight.

There are so many similarities. Now we know that 50 Shades of Grey started out as fan fiction for Twilight but it seems like they've made no attempt to step away from this. The main characters and their families have so many similarities, as does the script.

While it may sound like a romantic movie it most certainly is not. The storyline suggests it would appeal to a more female audience but half way through it's perfectly clear it's not for women.

Jamie Dornan is almost the perfect Christian Grey, however his accent does slip a bit which takes away from his credibility as Mr Grey. Dakota Johnson is a very good Anastasia Steele. She plays the awkward and shy girl to a tee. She does bite her lip though throughout the movie and by the end it gets a bit repetitive... we get it you like to bite your lip!

The soundtrack is going to be amazing. It includes Beyoncé, The Rolling Stones, Sia and Ellie Goulding to name a few. I'd go as far to say that the soundtrack could be the biggest selling point for the franchise.

Rita Ora has a supporting role in the movie but it's more of a 'blink and you'll miss her' role.

Overall it's worth a watch to see what all the fuss is about but don't be expecting a romantic chick flick.
