25 year old man killed after stabbing in Tallaght on Tuesday night
A man arrested in connection with the death of a 25 year old in Tallaght on Tuesday night remains in Garda custody for questioning this morning.
The man in his 20s can be held for 24 hours, after being arrested yesterday afternoon.
Ademola Giwa died in hospital on Tuesday night after being stabbed a number of times at Mac Uilliam Road.
Meanwhile, a former senior Garda believes anyone found to be in possession of a knife should have to take a knife crime awareness course.
Gardaí have already seized one thousand knives so far this year.
"Part of that course should be that these people who are carrying knives should be confronted by victims and victim's families," says former detective inspector Pat Marry.
