Man Hospitalised After Being Struck By Luas Near Leopardstown

A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a Luas tram while out walking near Leopardstown.

The collision happened between Ballyogan Wood and Leopardstown Valley. The tram was heading north towards the city centre.

The man has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The driver of the Luas tram has also been taken to hospital as a precaution.

There is currently no Luas service on the Green Line between Brides Glen and Sandyford.

Trams are operating between Sandyford and Broombridge/Parnell.

Luas has apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
