Temple Bar Christmas Market

Dublin’s only art and craft Christmas night market returns this weekend, running from the 6th of December up until December 21st.

The Temple Bar Christmas Markets feature handmade products and the work of artists & craft makers in a relaxed atmosphere right in the cultural heart of the City Centre.

This is an excellent showcase for all of the artists and craft makers to sell their works.

The night market features a wide selection of craft makers from both Ireland and overseas. Items on sale will include handmade soaps, candles, bead-work, fashion, up cycled arts and crafts, jewellery and more.

Organised by Love Temple Bar, it’s sure to be a must visit.

Dublin Flea Christmas Market 

The Dublin Christmas Flea Market will be hosted over two long weekends (Thursday to Sunday), 6th-9th Dec and 13th -16th.

A whopping 280 amazing Irish based creatives will be trading their quality products split over the two markets. Curated from over 500 applications, no two stalls are alike.

The Market hosts 100% creative Irish start-up and small business enterprise selling a selection of art, contemporary design, hand-made craft, retro, vintage and antique collectibles and artisan food products.

Teeling Spirit Of Dublin Craft Fair 

Teeling Whiskey is hosting a festive event at its award-winning distillery in Newmarket this Saturday.

The Spirit of Dublin Christmas Craft Fair opens from 10am and will celebrate Ireland’s leading artisan producers as well as Teeling Whiskey’s own food collaborations, from Irish Marmalades to Irish honey!

Over 20 of the country’s top producers will showcase their crafty creations under one roof, making the fair the perfect place to pick up a unique gift for someone special this festive season.

Brands include The Cupcake Bloke, Proper Chocolate, Cosmic Boulevard,  LaineyK, Siopaella and Jane Darcy.

Foodies can rejoice and indulge in the wide variety of food stalls.

Regulars to the event will be delighted to hear that the Teeling Whiskey team will be on hand throughout the day to make sure everyone has the chance to indulge in a selection of carefully crafted cocktails.

Crumlin United and Ellie’s Xmas Heart appeal fun day

Crumlin United will be holding a family fun day in their club this Saturday to raise money for Ellie’s Xmas Heart Appeal.

Ellie’s Xmas Heart Appeal aims to raise money and donations of toys to give to children spending their Christmas in Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

The fun day will run from 11am until 1pm, with the opportunity to donate presents with plenty of elves on hand! There promises to be a number of fun activities on offer for all the family.

WALK Winter Wonderland at Drimnagh Castle

WALK’s magical Winter Wonderland will take place in Drimnagh Castle this Sunday, comprised of all things festive.

When you enter the archway through the Castle, you can savour the beautiful smell and sounds of Christmas.

Browse WALK’s Christmas market which provides a lovely mix of seasonal trinkets and tasty local treats, as well as joining Mrs Claus and the elves for festive jokes, songs and stories.

Visit Santa in his grotto, and post your Santa letter in WALK’s magical post box for Santa to read, or make a wish in WALK’s wishing well.

All proceeds from Winter Wonderland will go to support WALK Community Project Fund. Tickets for the different time slots are available through Eventbrite, priced from €5 to €10.

Tallaght Ink For Hope day

On December 9th, Tallaght Ink will be hosting a fundraiser in aid of Hope, a local suicide prevention centre in Tallaght.

All designs will be €50 on the day and will be completed by the resident artists in the studio.

Over the past few years, Tallaght Ink has raised in excess of €8,000 for local charities.

The ‘Ink For Hope’ event will run from 11am until 4pm on Sunday, with more information available from Tallaght Ink’s Facebook page.
