Marcelo Bielsa will remain as Leeds' head-coach after he confirmed that "everything is sorted" for him to stay in charge at Elland Road.

The Argentine coach had been in talks with the club throughout the summer and an agreement has been reached on a new contract ahead of the start of the new Premier League season this weekend.

"I will be working the next season at Leeds United," Bielsa told a news conference this lunchtime ahead of their trip to reigning champions Liverpool on Saturday.

"Everything is sorted and it is definite that I will be here for next season. Like in every negotiation, nothing is done until it’s done. I am very happy to compete in a league of the stature of the Premier League.

Heading into his third season with Championship winners Leeds, it's now the longest club management stint of his career.

Bielsa says their record signing Rodrigo is fit and ready to make his debut in the game at Anfield and he believes the Spanish striker will add a lot to their attack.

"Rodrigo has an extensive track record and he’s also a starter for an important nation in Europe. That defines him as a player.
