Emergency Council Motion After Sewage Leak Caught On Camera

There's a call for greater accountability after pictures of raw sewage flooding into Dublin Bay emerged last week.

Sinn Fein Councillor Chris Andrews is bringing an emergency motion on the matter to tomorrow's city council meeting.

He says Irish Water and the EPA need to do better.

"You have raw sewage leaking back into Dublin Bay without being treated . . . Irish Water and the EPA need to be more proactive and communicative ," he said.

"It it wasn't for a person with a drone, we might never have known."
