Drugs Worth Almost €4 Million Euro Seized In Dublin

Suspected cocaine with an approximate street value of 2.8 million euro was seized in a car park at Liffey Valley after two cars were intercepted just after 7pm. Three men and one woman all in their 40s were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking offences.

Cash totalling approximately 50,000 euro has also been recovered in a follow up search at a residence in Meath.

Meanwhile, at 6.30pm, a vehicle was intercepted on the N7 at Rathcoole, Co. Dublin.

A large quantity of cannabis herb with an approximate street value of €800,000 was seized. One man in his 40s was arrested.

Elsewhere, Gardaí have arrested one man and seized a quantity of drugs in Finglas. At 7pm, Gardai searched a house in Finglas. During the course of the search Gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value in excess of €200,000.

A man in his 20s was arrested.
