Daft Punk split
Electronic duo Daft Punk have split after 28 years in the music industry.
The Parisian pair announced the news in a video uploaded to YouTube this afternoon.
The eight-minute clip titled Epilogue, sees one of the helmet-clad members blow himself up.
The video then fades to black and reveals a logo dated 1993-2021.
It's a sad day for Daft Punk fans who were holding out hope for one more tour.
The group haven't played live together since December 2007.
Although a reason for the split has yet to be announced, the news has been confirmed by Daft Punk's longtime publicist Kathryn Frazier.
