This is a bit of a genius move in fairness.

Rebekah Vardy is after trademarking the phrase 'Wagatha Christie'. This comes in the aftermath of her losing her court case against Coleen Rooney, where she unsuccessfully tried to sue her for defamation.

Coleen and Rebekah went through the courts last summer after Coleen claimed that Vardy had been leaking stories about her to the press through her Instagram close friends story, and Rebekah claimed that this wasn't true.

(I mean I think we all remember where we were when we first reads the words "It's............Rebekah Vardy's account")

When Coleen first posted her suspicions in the infamous Twitter statement, and the internet exploded, someone was quick to dub the whole case "Wagatha Christie".

Comedian Dan Atkinson claimed he coined the iconic phrase, but one thing we know is it certainly wasn't Rebekah Vardy who came up with it!

Nevertheless she applied to get the phrase registered for trademark in the UK in August, through the company London Entertainment Inc Ltd on her behalf, and it was officially added to the list of registered trademarks last Friday.

That means that you cannot make and sell anything that references Wagatha Christie without getting permission or owing money to Rebekah Vardy. It covers everything from broadcasting to beauty lotions to beverages, as well as stationery, jewellery and fashion design.

Possibly the perfect revenge? And a great way of paying the huge bill she was left with after losing the court case last year.
