You Can Now Work Remotely From A Ferris Wheel In Japan

Fancy a change of scene?

An amusement park in Japan is letting people "work-from-home" from its WiFi-enabled Ferris wheel.

Yomiuriland, a Tokyo amusement park, is offering a "workcation" package that allows people who work from a laptop to do so at the resort.

The park offers weekday passes which include a poolside booth and an hour pass for the Ferris wheel for as little as €15.

Fancy something spookier for October? The park also boasts a haunted house as a WFH alternative.

Once the workday is done, visitors will be able to enjoy an evening of everything the theme park has to offer.

This includes the "Bandit Area" which is home to its number one roller coaster Bandit, Laser Athletics, as well as various other attractions.

Remote working

Japan's workforce has heavily shifted from office to remote work since March.

In June, its government asked businesses to aim at having at least 70% of their employees work from home.
