The owner of the shop which sold the winning 38.9 million euromillions ticket says she's delighted for the player.
The lucky punter bought the ticket in the village shop in Malahide, north county Dublin last Friday.
They've made contact with the National Lottery and should be able to collect their cheque by the end of the week.
Store owner, Amy Cong, hopes it's a local. "It's really unbelievable. It's still unreal for me. We are really delighted for whoever it is who has won".
"Obviously, we would be really delighted if it was one of our regular customers", she said.
The Village Shop in Malahide previously sold a winning ticket worth €300,000.
Miriam Donohoe from The National Lottery said "The Village Shop is going to be known as a lucky shop, and our experience is that people tend to go and play in shops that are known to have had a number of big wins", she said.
