Trina is 98FM’s Entertainment Producer…

She’s interviewed everyone from David Schwimmer to Tom Cruise (who scarily laughed at everything she said) and even her dream candidate Jennifer Aniston.

So how does a girl from Marino end up on the red carpet? Well, having learned the ropes in Ballyfermot with a degree in media production and management – Trina got her first job in 98 answering the phones.

She did every job going in the station until that fateful day when a presenter was off sick and Trina got put on the roster. Deciding to say nothing (she’d never presented a show before) she took a deep breath and just went for it

She hasn’t looked back since – and when she landed her first big interview, the aforementioned Ross from Friends, she just went for it and asked the right questions. Though she does credit the movie Notting Hill with showing her how a press conference worked!

Her favourite interview so far was Colin Farrell who she managed to embarrass the hell out of with a long-lost match programme from a his Castleknock Celtic days when he was just 15? The verdict? His best review ever – and you know what; he’s great fun to interview!

And how does she deal with all the early mornings? By kicking the habit of morning make-up and she just loves having the afternoon free for shopping!
