Aww I'm really sad Ruth Lorenzo is gone from X Factor...I liked her...hope the weekend was good. I went to see Tom Baxter (again) in The Academy and he was great as usual but the guards actually had to escort me out of the venue cause they think I'm a stalker...anyhoo December is here yey and I thought it would be a good idea to give some diet tips to prevent that Christmas bulge. 1. Go Christmas shopping! Walking around in a large shopping centre makes for great activity and great fun. You just can't get a better activity combination! 2. The old standard - park your vehicle 'a ways' from the building and walk. Yes, it's an old tip but still one of the best. On your walk to the store, think about the things you want to purchase (your gift list). 3. Wrap those packages! And once yours are all bundled up, volunteer to wrap some more. Local shelters are in dire need of volunteers during this busy season of the year for everything from wrapping packages to delivering hot meals. 4. Take the dog for a long walk through the neighborhood after dark so you can get a glimpse of the pretty lights in the area. Be sure to take a few friends along for safety concerns. Also, take a flashlight and wear light clothing. 5. Throw a Christmas Party. As host or hostess, you'll certainly be getting in more than your share of activity for the day or night. 6. Grab some friends and go caroling. 7. Do any of the following, depending on where you may live: ice skating, sledding, skiing, horseshoes, bowling, dancing, hula hooping to The Jingle Bell Rock! (ok I didn't make them up they are clearly robbed from an American website but you get the point!)

oh the memories came flooding back earlier, we called out to the children in Glenalbyn Montessori in Stillorgan earlier and they were practicing their Christmas concert. They broke into a verse of 'Little Drummer Boy' and I couldn't help but join in...the cutest thing I've heard in ages, If you'd like me and Barry to call out to where you work just text Thunder and tell us your details...to 53981...Loux
I'm not usually the biggest fan of The X Factor but a crane couldn't have lifted me off the seat last night for the Take That special! it was so funny cause my phone was hopping from the moment it started...here are just some of the 30 texts:
"OMG are you watching The X Factor?" Brendan from 98 News "OMG I'm glued to the chair, I love Take That so much I can't take it!" - my best friend Elaine. "Louise, Elaine is actually almost inside the TV"- Elaine's sister. "I want to marry Jason Orange" Elaine again ha ha. "Elaine, I don't think Jason likes girls" -me.
It was great though, I didn't think Eoin would pull off Never Forget but he did a good job. Anyway I don't know why we still get so excited about TT it must be a teenage thing, I got to meet Mark a few years ago when they reunited and I'll be on the hunt for him again when the come to Croke Park next June (check out the cheesy grin).....Lou
