THE INBOX is one of the fastest growing shows in Dublin and, indeed, Irish radio. Hosted by Paul Connolly and Joan Lee, it’s where Dubliner’s come to debate the topics they care about; to laugh about the silliness of everyday life; and to listen to in-depth, hard-hitting interviews with huge, household names.

No screaming. No shouting. No mistaking this for anything but entertaining, hilarious, stirring and, at times, moving radio.

The Inbox - Two hours of talk, a day’s worth of conversation.

Santa Claus is coming to 98's Inbox...TONIGHT...
Tuesday 23rd December 2008

Hi all,

Santa Clause will be here, in the flesh, from 7pm this evening. The plan: to give away as many presents as is humanly possible, and have a good laugh doing it. Hamley’s of Dundrum (Toy shop…very, very impressive) has been working with us for weeks on this, and, tonight, everything must go!!

So, if you’re interested in having your child, niece, nephew or significant little lad or lass have a chat to Santa then tune in to The Inbox Christmas Special from 7pm this evening.

The Palestrina Choir will be here, too, live in studio, banging out some Christmas songs as only they can.

Happy Christmas, and have a great New Year.

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas....
Monday 8th December 2008

Tell me this: how, in the name of all that’s good, do Christmas lights get so tangled up? Last year, in a time-saving plan of some genius, I packed them up in such a way that, in theory, tangling was impossible. Not a chance. No way, Jose. As you can see, though, it didn’t quite happen. Pictured is a neighbour who, whilst trying to help, got good and tangled. Bit of a mystery, this one. Any ideas why they get tangled?

Dublin’s 98 mug, signed by THE INBOX team up for grabs to whoever emails pconnolly@dublins98.ie with the most believable theory.

The Sales Assassin
Tuesday 2nd December 2008

Have to say I enjoyed last night’s Apprentice. Interrogations. Tears. Trouser soaking tension.  Great TV, as the fella says. But none so much as when Stuart, cocky as you like, slid a business card in Bill’s direction. Sure enough, it rose more than a few smiles, and treaded the board between genius and numbnuts. But was that where it all went wrong, or did it rubber-stamp him as the likeable clown? Personally, I think that sealed it. Stuart’s bold, brave move got him the boot. But, sure, it was worth a go.

Here’s the link, anyway - http://www.tv3.ie/shows.php?request=theapprentice

Check it out for yourself and email your opinion to pconnolly@dublins98.ie: Genius? Or eejit?
